Orchestra Schedule of Events
2008-2009

After school Rehearsals begin the Tuesday after Labor Day.  Sectionals will be held weekly and a group rehearsal once a month.  Rehearsals are 2:50- 3:30p.m.  Transportation Required.

All State Auditions:   Sat., September 27th 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
                                               Location: TBA

 Music Sit In Event:   Thur., October 16^th   3:00- 6:30p.m. LCMA

All County Recording Week:   October 27-30^th by appointment at school

March 26                   Tenoroc High School                      6:00- 8:30 p.m.  Rehearsal
April 16                      Florida Southern College               6:00- 8:30p.m.   Rehearsal
April 17                      All Day Rehearsal at FSC              9:00- 4:00 p.m. Rehearsal
April 17                      Concert at FSC                               7:30 p.m.
 

Strings Concert:   Mon., December 8^th  at Highland Park Nazarene Gym
                                          6:30- 8:30 p.m.         
                                          Required event for all string students

Solo and Ensemble:   Sat., January 31^st at Tenoroc or Rochelle Assigned Time

MPA:                             Sat., February 28^th time TBA         
                                          Lake Region High School
                                          Required event for string students

Spring Concert:    Thursday, April 30th at Highland Park Nazarene Sanctuary
                                          6:30- 8:30 p.m.         
                                          Required event for all string students

Lincoln Concert:   Tues., May 12^th        
                                           7&8 grade Students perform at Lincoln

Awards Ceremony Concert:   7&8 advanced orchestra perform at LCMA
                                                                    awards ceremony at Highland Park Nazarene
                                                                    6:00- 7:00 p.m.

Field Trip:                  May 2009       TBA
